14-Day Money-Back Guarantee | Effective: January 28, 2025

1. Our Commitment

Synthesis Enterprises Limited, operating as JRBuddy, stands behind our software products with a 14-day money-back guarantee. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

This Refund Policy applies to all software products purchased directly from jrbuddy.com. Purchases made through third-party resellers are subject to their respective refund policies.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may request a full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of your initial purchase.

What's Covered

  • First-time purchases of any JRBuddy software product
  • Initial subscription payments
  • Upgrade purchases (within 14 days of the upgrade)

Guarantee Conditions

  • The refund request must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date
  • You must provide a valid reason for the refund request
  • The product must not show signs of abuse, excessive use, or license sharing

3. Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a refund under our 14-day guarantee, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Timeframe: Request submitted within 14 calendar days of purchase
  • First-time customer: You have not previously received a refund for the same product
  • Verification: You provide your order ID, registered email address, and reason for refund
  • Good faith: You have attempted to resolve any technical issues with our support team
  • No abuse: The software has not been excessively used, shared, or exploited
  • No violations: You have not violated our Terms & Conditions

4. Non-Refundable Purchases

The following are NOT eligible for refunds:

  • Requests after 14 days: Purchases made more than 14 calendar days ago
  • Renewal payments: Subsequent monthly subscription renewals (cancel before renewal to avoid charges)
  • Partial months: No prorated refunds for unused portions of subscription periods
  • Third-party purchases: Products purchased through resellers or unauthorized channels
  • License abuse: Cases involving license key sharing, redistribution, or Terms violations
  • Repeated refunds: If you have previously received a refund for the same product
  • Chargebacks: Accounts with pending or completed chargebacks
  • Fraudulent purchases: Purchases made with stolen payment methods
  • Free products: Free versions or promotional items (no payment made)

5. Subscription Cancellation vs. Refund

5.1 Cancellation (No Refund)

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Upon cancellation:

  • You retain full access until the end of your current billing period
  • No charges will be made for subsequent months
  • Your license will become inactive after the billing period ends
  • No refund is issued for the remaining period

5.2 Refund Request

Refunds are only available for the initial purchase within the 14-day window. Monthly renewals are not eligible for refunds.

6. How to Request a Refund

Step 1: Contact Support

Email support@jrbuddy.com with the subject line "Refund Request - [Your Order ID]"

Step 2: Provide Required Information

  • Your order ID or transaction reference
  • Email address used for purchase
  • Product name
  • Reason for refund request

Step 3: Review Process

Our team will review your request within 1-3 business days. We may contact you for additional information or to offer technical support if your issue can be resolved.

Step 4: Refund Processing

If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days. The actual time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider.

7. Refund Methods

Credit/Debit Card Purchases

Refunds will be credited to the original payment card used for the purchase. Processing time: 5-10 business days after approval.

Cryptocurrency Purchases (Bitcoin)

Refunds for cryptocurrency purchases are processed back to your Bitcoin wallet address. The refund amount is based on the USD value at the time of original purchase, converted to the current BTC rate at the time of refund processing.

PayPal Purchases

Refunds will be credited to your PayPal account. Processing time: 3-5 business days after approval.

8. License Deactivation

Upon refund approval:

  • Your license key will be immediately deactivated
  • The software will no longer function with the refunded license

9. Chargeback Policy

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving issues directly.

If you initiate a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us:

  • Your account and all associated licenses will be permanently terminated
  • You will be banned from future purchases
  • We reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with evidence of license usage
  • Additional fees and collection costs may be pursued

Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to relevant authorities and credit agencies.

10. Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to refuse refunds if we detect abuse patterns, including but not limited to:

  • Multiple refund requests across different accounts or products
  • Evidence of extensive software usage before refund request
  • License key sharing or distribution
  • Attempting to circumvent license restrictions
  • Creating multiple accounts to exploit refund policies

Accounts engaged in refund abuse may be permanently banned.

11. Technical Issues

Before requesting a refund due to technical issues, please:

  • Review our documentation and FAQs
  • Contact our support team for assistance
  • Allow our team reasonable time to investigate and resolve the issue

Many technical issues can be resolved quickly. Our support team is available to help you get the most from your software.

12. Regional Rights

This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. If you are in a jurisdiction that provides additional consumer rights (such as the European Union), those rights apply in addition to this policy.

For EU consumers: You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days. However, by downloading and installing the software, you acknowledge that you have requested immediate performance of the contract and that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download is complete.

13. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
